After January's washout (cheers, weather gods), we were itching to get back on track, especially with our last round being all the way back in November. Yesterday finally gave us that chance. It may have been a cold one, but the vibes were high and the racing was fierce.
A massive thank you to every racer, crew person, volunteer, spectator and supporter who braved the chill and helped make our Season Finale one to remember!
We also want to address the lane 2 MPH sensor issue (1/4 mile). Despite our best efforts to fix it on the day, it became clear that continuing to troubleshoot and fault find would jeopardise our ability to run (or possibly finish) the event. These calls are never made lightly, and there's a lot happening behind the scenes when decisions like these have to be made. Thank you for bearing with us and understanding the realities of race day operations.
Below you'll find Sunday's full results, including final season points for each class.
Keep your eyes peeled for announcements about our Annual Prizegiving and the PBDRC AGM.
With that, we officially say adios to the 2025/2026 season. Time to dive into off-season maintenance, repairs or upgrades, we can't wait to see what you bring to the strip next season. Dates for the 2026/2027 season will be released as soon as confirmed.
A huge shoutout to Oxford Couriers and Sheffield Crescent Auto Centre Ltd, who have been absolutely incredible in supporting the club and our racers throughout the season. Their commitment, including throwing down cash prizes at events has definitely added some extra heat to the start line and lifted the competition across the board.
Best 60ft ET - Bikes - Michael Trainor with a 60ft ET of 1.527
Best RT - Cars - Grant Emett with a RT of 0.002
